(10:00) SCOTTS VALLEY – A road in Scotts Valley has reopened after being closed for four years. Heavy rainfall in March 2011 caused a rock slide, blocking off Nelson Road. A temporary route was built for the forty residents that use the road. The roadway was reopened Monday. A 6-foot wall has been built to prevent future landslides. (M.K.)
