June 3, 2015: California Residents Cut Water Usage

(10:15) SACRAMENTO – California residents cut their water usage by 13.5 percent in April. According to a report from the Water Resources Control Board, Southern California residents cut their water use by only nine percent, while a part of Sacramento cut up to 24 percent. Starting this month, every water district must cut water usage by 25 percent. Districts that do not meet the new requirements will face daily fines of up to $10,000. (M.K.)
