(09:24) SANTA CRUZ – A Santa Cruz man has been sentenced for lewd acts with a minor. 89-year-old Eric Frank Greene was accused of molesting a child in the early 2000s. He pleaded no contest and faced up to six years in state prison. On Tuesday, a judge ruled that due to Greene’s age, a 6-year prison term would be the equivalent of a death sentence. Greene has been sentenced to 1 year in jail and 5 years probation. He will serve six years in prison if he violates his probation. (S.G.)
