(06:55) SALINAS – Several homes were evacuated while crews contained a fire in Salinas early Monday morning. Officials say a car caught fire at a residence on Bolivar Street around 2 a.m. The fire then spread to the garage, the front of the house, then to other cars nearby. Firefighters discovered damaged wires and a gas leak, prompting the evacuations. No one was injured. The incident is under investigation. (S.G.)
