(20:31) NORTH SALINAS – A second house fire broke out today in North Salinas. The woman inside the home said she had smelled smoke in the family room, where she found a couch on fire. The home, which is near the intersection of Middlefield and Lagunita Roads, suffered significant damage, but no one was injured. The homeowners were displaced, and the cause of the blaze is under investigation. (S.S.)
