(06:42) SANTA CRUZ– A man was injured in a hit and run in Santa Cruz yesterday afternoon. The incident occurred on the 400 block of Palm Street shortly after 2 p.m. Authorities say a vehicle ran over the 32-year-old victim before fleeing the scene in the direction of California Avenue. The man was transported to the hospital with a compound leg fracture. The incident is under investigation. (S.G.)
