A reconstruction project has started east of Monterey’s Fisherman’s Wharf. On April 27th the first phase of the erosion control project started with construction crews began repairs to the causeway, and artificial rocks that have been undermined by surf and other natural causes. This phase of the project is expected to be completed in late June.
