A Scotts Valley nonprofit organization is raising funds for a new sports facility at the high school. The Committee for the Scotts Valley Sports Complex is aiming to raise $9.25 million for the new facility which would include a turf field, track, lights, bleacher seating, and an aquatic center. The concept of the project was approved by the Board of Trustees in January. The committee has raised nearly $100,000 and is currently reaching out to potential donors through their website supportsvsc.org. The website is expected to begin taking donations in a week.
