A Santa Cruz nonprofit has launched weekly cleanups at Davenport Main Beach. Yesterday marked the first XStream Beach Cleanup, which will target remote areas with excessive trash, including caves, rivers, and inland dump sites. The cleanups will take place every Sunday from 9 to 11 a.m. through mid-September, rain or shine. Check-in will be located in the parking lot directly across Highway 1 from the Davenport Bakery Bar and Grill. For more information visit saveourshores.org .
