Gilroy police are investigating the cause of a fatal accident. Shortly after 7 p.m. on Wednesday first responders arrived to the 7900 block of Arroyo Circle to find 19 year old Jonathan Flores trapped in his car after hitting a light pole then striking a tree. Flores died at the scene as rescuers tried to free him from the vehicle. At this time drugs and alcohol have not been ruled out as contributing factors.
