Marina police arrested a sex offender yesterday morning after she failed to register her place of residence. 26-year-old Malia Soto was convicted of possessing child pornography in 2012. Officials say Soto moved from Marina to Salinas and did not inform probation officers. She was arrested in Salinas and booked into Monterey County Jail.
