Capitola Police arrested a suspect for graffiti vandalism yesterday. Officers responded to reports of vandalism at Chase Bank on 41st avenue at approximately 5:30 p.m. Upon arrival, officers searched the area and located 21-year-old Alexander Tinaza, who matched the suspect description. Tinaza led police on a brief foot pursuit, but was ultimately detained. He was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail for vandalism, resisting arrest, possession of vandalism tools, and violation of probation.
