A Santa Cruz fire left a home temporarily uninhabitable. The fire broke out in the garage of a home on the 2-thousand block of Bobwhite Lane at about 8:45 a.m. Fire fighters were able to contain the blaze to the garage, however P,G and E cut power to the dwelling until repairs can be made temporarily displacing the residents. The fire is believed to have been started by a restoration project in the garage.
