Salinas Man Arrested on Suspicion of Armed Robbery at Taco Bell- 3/12/15 8:00 S.G.

A Salinas man was arrested early yesterday on suspicion of armed robbery and false imprisonment. Officials say 27-year-old Mercurio Bose allegedly drove up to the drive-through at a Taco Bell around 4 a.m. The suspect then held employees at gunpoint and took money from the register before fleeing the scene. Bose’s vehicle was located in the area of North Main Street and Harden Parkway shortly after. A search of his car recovered a replica firearm and stolen cash. Bose was booked into Monterey County Jail. He is also being held in connection with the armed robbery of a Shell gas station last month.
