Two Scotts Valley residents were killed and a third critically injured in a solo crash in New Mexico this week. Officials say the victims were traveling on Interstate 40 Monday when they experienced a tire blowout, causing them to hit the median and overturn. 29-year-old Chelsea Lawson and 6-year-old Natasha Siegel died after being ejected from the vehicle. The driver, 40-year-old Aaron Siegel, was airlifted to an Albuquerque hospital with spinal fractures. A fund has been created to pay for transportation and funeral expenses for Lawson and Natasha Siegel. To donate, visit gofundme.com/oc3tl0 .
