The executors of the Robert and Elayne Stein Estate plan to present a major gift to the Central Coast Veterans Cemetery tomorrow. The money is expected to be used for the construction of the cemetery on the Former Fort Ord. The groundbreaking for that cemetery is this Friday. The Steins ran the Snack Shop and Boat Rental at Loch Lomond, before retiring and moving to the Royal Oaks area of North Monterey County (about 30 years ago). Money from the Stein estate has also been gifted to the Friends of Watsonville Public Library.
