Shark sightings have been posted at 2 local beaches. A surfer off Marina State Beach estimated the Great White Shark he saw Monday was about 18 feet long; while witnesses did not estimate a length of the Great White spotted near the Cement Ship in Aptos. Although a surfer thought the 2nd shark was about to try and bite him, that shark was actually chasing a seal.
