A Santa Cruz man was injured during a shooting Friday night. Shortly before 10:30 p.m. police responded to reports of gunfire at the corner of Pacific Avenue and Cathcart Street near the Catalyst night club. On scene officers located a 22 year old victim who was transported to the hospital and later released. Witnesses reported hearing between two and seven shots following a fight involving two Latino males. Investigators are looking for a heavy set Hispanic man wearing a black Raiders jersey with the number 75 and the name Long on it, seen fleeing the scene possibly in a black S-U-V.
