A Salinas man was hospitalized after what is being called a gang related shooting on Friday. Shortly before 5 p.m. Officers arrived on the scene of a reported shooting near the intersection of Hebbron and Alisal Streets to find a 29 year old victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim was transported to a hospital and is expected to recover. Witnesses say the victim had a verbal altercation with the occupants of a compact silver car at the time of the shooting.
