A Hollister man was arrested following a police chase Monday. An officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop when he spotted a vehicle running through stop signs near the intersection of Sunnyslope and Valleyview roads around 8 p.m. The driver failed to pull over and led the officer on a chase. The pursuit ended when the suspect’s vehicle hit a car and crashed into a fence on the 500 block of Nash Road. 23-year-old Julio Cesar Perez was detained following a short pursuit on foot. Perez was booked into county jail.
