The Monterey Bay Unified Air Pollution Control District has lifted a Spare the Air Alert for the San Lorenzo Valley. The alert was issued last Friday, warning residents of stagnant weather conditions, asking residents who use wood for heat, to use other heat sources to ease pollution conditions in the valley. The agency warns another alert is the near future.
