The man suspected of child endangerment in a boating accident in Live Oak on Sunday has been identified. Officials say 24-year-old Michael Stemple of San Jose and his two passengers, another adult and a 3-year-old child, were riding in a motorboat off Sunny Cove Beach. The boat overturned when Stemple attempted to bring the vessel to shore. The child was airlifted to a hospital for treatment. Stemple has since been released from county jail.
