The Aromas Water District has started on a project to provide better water service to three areas. The district acquired a low interest $2.7 million loan from the U.S. Department of Agriculture for funding the 2.4 miles of new pipe that will supply nearly 60 households on Dunbarton Road, Oak Ridge, and Via Del Sol Drives. The homes have been subject to water shortages from inadequate wells. Construction is expected to be completed next May.
