The outgoing Santa Cruz mayor, Lynn Robinson will step down from the city council on Tuesday. The 59-year-old Robinson has been a member of the city council since 2006 will term out, and vice mayor Don Lane will be sworn in as the new mayor. Also stepping down from the council is former mayor Hilary Bryant who decided against running for re-election. Departing remarks are to start at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 809 Center Street.
