The nationally renowned glassware company, Annieglass will be closing its Santa Cruz store at the end of the month. The company’s founder, Annie Morhauser opened the Cooper Street store in 1993, and since then it has been the flagship store of the company as it gained national recognition, and grew to 30 full time artisan employees producing upwards of 100,000 pieces of flatware and accessories for resorts and high-end retailers around the country. In January the store’s lease is up and it will be moving to Santana Row in San Jose. At this time, production will remain on the Central Coast at the company’s Watsonville studio.
