Tomorrow, Tuesday, December 2nd, Monterey will swear in a new mayor and two new city councilmembers. Clyde Roberson, who previously served 20 years on the council, will be sworn in as mayor. He will be joined by Ed Smith, a 34-year veteran of law enforcement, and Timothy Barrett, a small business owner. The council will also recognize outgoing Mayor Chuck Della Sala and Councilmembers Frank Sollecito and Nancy Selfridge. The council meeting begins at 4 p.m. in the city council chambers at Few Memorial Hall, 580 Pacific Street.
