Watsonville police arrested two juveniles early Thursday morning. At about 1 a.m., a motorist alerted a patrol unit of two males spray painting graffiti in the area of Main and West Beach Streets. As officers approached, the juveniles fled on foot and were apprehended after a short chase. Both suspects were in possession of modified spray paint cans commonly used for graffiti. Police located nine freshly vandalized businesses . The suspects were arrested and booked into Juvenile Hall on felony vandalism, resisting arrest, and obstruction charges.
