The Capitola City Council has voted in favor of moving the Metro Transit Center. The center would be moved from the front of the Capitola Mall to the back, near Kohl’s and Macy’s. The vote’s purpose was to notify the mall owner, Macerich Company, that the city intends to make the change to boost mall sales. The relocation of the metro center would cost $5 million.
