Road crews have begun work on a 6-mile stretch of Highway 152 near Watsonville from Holohan Road to the summit of Mount Madonna. Starting Monday there will be a full closure of Highway 152 between Carlton Road and the Mount Madonna Inn for five days, between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Highway 129 will be the designated detour and message signs will be posted to inform motorists of this detour.
