About 18,000 nurses are on strike in California including at Watsonville Community Hospital. The nurse unions claim that hospitals are not meeting patient care standards, and are not preparing for Ebola to the fullest possible extent. Although some hospitals say they are following the CDC’s protocol, many nurses say they want access to full body hazmat suits, and the training on how to safely take them on and off.
