A citizen aided with the arrest of a burglar in Marina this morning. Just before 6 a.m., the citizen reportedly saw a man stealing tires from a vehicle in the parking lot of B&C Auto Sales and called the police. The suspect, 31-year-old Fernando Narrez of Watsonville ran from police and a chase ensued. Narrez was located hiding in a nearby apartment complex and was found to be in possession of narcotics paraphernalia and methamphetamine. He was arrested and booked into Monterey County Jail for resisting arrest and grand theft.
