California Highway Patrol officials are seeking individuals who witnessed a crash in Castroville early last month. The head-on collision occurred on October 12th on Highway 183 shortly before 3 p.m. Six people were seriously injured and three remain hospitalized. The driver of one vehicle, 22-year-old Pedro Alonzo-Rodriguez of Salinas, was found under the influence of alcohol. Alonzo-Rodriguez was placed under arrest for felony DUI. The CHP is encouraging anyone with information to contact Castroville police.
