The fifty top water savers in the Pajaro Valley Water District are to be honored today. The Pajaro Valley Water Management Agency is hosting a barbecue for the winners of The Great Drought Contest. The event takes place at noon at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds. The fifty honorees helped the community by cutting water use by over 700 million gallons.
