The identity of a highway worker killed by a DUI driver has been released. Shortly after midnight Thursday morning 50-year-old Adam Zubiate is alleged to have been intoxicated and speeding when he struck 51-year-old Jesus Fernandez. Fernandez a utility worker from Tracy was pronounced dead at the scene. Zubiate was booked into Monterey County Jail.
