A Seaside man and his instructor were injured when he crashed during his driving test today (tues). The man in his mid-thirties was being tested outside the DMV office on Canyon Del Rey Boulevard around 11:30 a.m. Officials say the student pressed on the gas pedal too hard, lost control of the vehicle, then crashed into a wall in the parking lot. The driver and the instructor sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
