A child and an adult were killed in Watsonville Friday night. Authorities say that at 11:55 p.m., officers responding to reports of an altercation at the Fish House Bar and Grill heard multiple gunshots and saw two suspects fleeing the scene. Medics located three victims. The 34-year-old intended victim died at the scene. The 4-year-girl died at the hospital. The third victim, a 26-year-old male employee, was treated for a non-life-threatening wound. Police apprehended the suspects and determined that only 31-year-old Michael Escobar was involved in shooting. Escobar was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail.
