THE REPORT STATES THAT THE CHESBRO RESERVOIR, LOCATED NEAR MORGAN HILL IS NOW AT 1.1 PERCENT OF CAPACITY, WHICH IS ACTUALLY UP FROM LAST MONTH WHEN THE LEVEL WAS 9 TENTHS OF A PERCENT. THE COUNTY OPERATES 10 RESERVOIRS WITH THE HIGHEST WATER LEVEL AT 7.3 PERCENT FOR THE STEVENS CREEK STORAGE FACILITY. RESERVOIRS SUPPLY 25 PERCENT OF SANTA CLARA COUNTY’S WATER, AND IF RAINS RETURN TO NON DROUGHT LEVELS COULD TAKE YEARS TO RETURN TO NORMAL LEVELS.
