A SOLO VEHICLE ACCIDENT, IN THE PRUNEDALE AREA, LED TO A GRASS FIRE THAT BURNED 4 ACRES BEFORE FIREFIGHTERS WERE ABLE TO PUT IT OUT. THE PEOPLE RIDING IN THE GREEN MUSTANG INVOLVED IN THE 2:30 P-M ACCIDENT ON BLACKIE ROAD FLED THE SCENE, AFTER THE VEHICLE HIT A POWER POLE AND THE LIVE WIRES ATTACHED LANDED IN A DRY FIELD. ABOUT 700 P.G. & E. CUSTOMERS WERE REPORTEDLY WITHOUT POWER FOR A WHILE AFTER THAT CRASH OCCURRED. ANYONE WITH ANY INFORMATION ON THE ACCIDENT, OR THE PEOPLE WHO HAD BEEN IN THE MUSTANG, IS ENCOURAGED TO CONTACT THE CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL.
