THOUSANDS OF GALLONS OF WATER CONTINUE TO SPILL FROM A CARMEL PROPERTY, FOUR MONTHS AFTER THE LEAK WAS DISCOVERED. THE PROPERTY OWNERS BEGAN PUMPING THE EXCESS WATER INTO THE STREET IN APRIL, OFFERING IT TO THE PUBLIC. CALIFORNIA AMERICAN WATER CONDUCTED A TEST TO DETERMINE THE SOURCE OF THE WATER. THEY CONCLUDED LAST MONTH THAT THE FLOW WAS NOT COMING FROM CAL AM’S SYSTEM. LAST WEEK, THE CARMEL CITY COUNCIL REQUESTED CAL AM RELEASE THE RESULTS OF THE INVESTIGATION TO THE PUBLIC.
