THE WILDFIRE THAT BROKE OUT YESTERDAY (THURS) AT FORT HUNTER LIGGET HAS BEEN FULLY CONTAINED. AT ABOUT 4 P-M FIRE FIGHTERS FROM THE NATIONAL FOREST SERVICE AND THE FORT HUNTER LIGGET FIRE DEPARTMENT BEGAN BATTLING THE BLAZE, WHICH BROKE OUT ON A FIRING RANGE THEN QUICKLY SPREAD TO NEARBY GRASSLANDS. NO INJURIES OR STRUCTURE DAMAGE HAVE BEEN REPORTED BY THE BLAZE THAT BURNED ROUGHLY 5- THOUSAND ACRES BEFORE BEING CONTAINED AROUND 10:30 FRIDAY MORNING.
