A WANTED FRESNO MAN WAS ARRESTED IN SCOTTS VALLEY FRIDAY. AT ABOUT 1:15 P-M AN ANONOMOUS CALLER TIPPED AUTHORTIES THAT A FUGITVE WAS STAYING IN TOWN USING AN ALIAS. POLICE THEN CONTACTED THE OCCUPANT OF AN R-V PARKED ON THE 9-HUNDRED BLOCK OF DISC DRIVE, AN IDENTITY CHECK WAS PERFORMED AND IT WAS DETERMINED THE SUSPECT WAS INDEED 41 YEAR OLD RICHARD UPSHAW WANTED FOR BATTERY IN FRESNO COUNTY. A SEARCH OF THE MOTOR HOME PRODUCED EQUIPEMENT AND EVIDENCE OF CURRENCY AND I.D. COUNTERFEITING, AS WELL AS METHAMPHETAMINE, AND AN ILLEGAL WEAPON. UPSHAW WAS BOOKED INTO SANTA CRUZ COUNTY JAIL.
