A CEDAR TREE CRASHED ONTO TWO HOMES IN SANTA CRUZ LAST NIGHT (WED). FIRE CREWS WERE DISPATCHED TO DOLORES STREET IN THE SEABRIGHT AREA AFTER THE TREE FELL AROUND 9 P-M. ONE PERSON WAS IN EACH HOME BUT NO ONE WAS INJURED. THE FOUR-FOOT WIDE TREE KNOCKED OUT POWER TO FOUR RESIDENCES. DOLORES STREET WILL REMAIN BLOCKED TODAY (THURS) WHILE CREWS CLEAR THE ROADWAY.
