King City Police are investigating a shooting that took place last night. The incident occurred just after 6 o’clock when officers received reports of shots fired at North Third and Ellis streets. Additional calls reported the shooter on the 300-block of Collins near North Third. Police arrived and found a 32-year old man suffering from a non-life threatening wound to the leg. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. No arrests were made. Police are searching for a possible suspect vehicle described as a green SUV or truck with a camper shell.
