Jury selection got underway this week for the Aptos mother accused of killing her 3-year old daughter 5-years ago in a Watsonville hotel room. 41-year old Veva Virgil has been charged with murder after her daughter Isabella Grace Martinez was found dead by hotel staff on November 16th 2008. Virgil has a history of mental illness and drug use. Her trial was delayed due to several psychiatric evaluations. If convicted, she faces 25-years to life in jail.
