U.S. Representative Sam Farr filed for reelection yesterday. Farr, a Democrat from Carmel, serves on the House Appropriations Committee, is the ranking member of the Appropriations Subcommittee on Agriculture, Rural Development and Food and Drug Administration. Farr, who was elected to Congress in 1993, says his 2014 goals include improving access to quality healthcare, building an impartial economy, passing comprehensive immigration reform and managing and maintaining the environment.
