A dangerous wanted parolee is off the streets after he was arrested in connection with a Santa Cruz Homeless Shelter stabbing last week. 62-year old William Jones was taken into custody yesterday afternoon just before 2 o’clock. Jones was trying to steal a bike outside of the shelter Saturday, when the bike’s owner confronted him and Jones stabbed him in the arm. Police say Jones was wanted on a probation violation in Santa Cruz County, along with a murder in Idaho.
