The cause of a fatal car accident that resulted in the death of a 73-year old bicyclist yesterday near Pajaro, remains under investigation. Police say the Aptos man was riding along the right shoulder of Salinas Road at Lewis Road just before 3 o’clock, when he made a sharp left turn into on-coming traffic, and was struck by a 43-year old driver from Watsonville. Drugs or alcohol are not believed to be a factor in the fatality. No other injuries were reported.
