A WILDFIRE THAT BROKE OUT TODAY (MONDAY)ABOUT 12:30 P-M ON MORO ROAD IN PRUNEDALE IS NOW FULLY CONTAINED ACCORDING TO NORTH MONTEREY COUNTY FIRE OFFICIALS. THE HALF-ACRE FIRE BURNED DOWN A FENCE AND BRUSH IN THE AREA BUT NO HOMES WERE DAMAGED AND NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. THE FIRE IS BELIEVED TO BE STARTED BY A HOMEOWNER WHO DUMPED FIREPLACE ASHES OUTSIDE.
