Five San Lorenzo Valley residents were displaced early this morning after a two-alarm blaze erupted. Agencies from Felton, Ben Lomond, Boulder Creek, Scotts Valley, Cal Fire and Zayante arrived at 12:30 a.m. to the 6700 block of Highway 9 in Felton to find two homes on fire. Crews battled the blaze for 2 hours until it was under control by 3 a.m. An “all clear” was reported as of 6 a.m. One structure was severely damaged. PG&E crews were also on scene due to a gas line break in one of the residences. No cause has yet been determined and damages have not been estimated. All of the residents in both homes were safely evacuated.
