A Soledad man was arrested yesterday afternoon after stabbing a police officer. Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on the 400-block of Entrada Drive around 2:45 p.m., to find a man pacing back and forth while holding a child. Police say the man then pulled out a box cutter, charged officers, knocking one of them to the ground and stabbed him multiple times. The officer was hospitalized and later released, while 32-year old Noel Ledesma was arrested on charges of attempted murder of a police officer.
